Aura Institutions

Hello, My name is Abhilasha Sharma and I want to share all my experience that I had during Induction Programme so lets start from the Ist day of induction when I came in AURA, I was really nervous & many questions were there in my mind that how my classmates and faculty would be but when I came in my class and all the faculty members introduced themselves to us, I was very relieved as all of them were very cooperative and friendly to us. Then Mr.Apoorv Chaturvedi who is handling our marketing department gave a brief introduction about our campus, fee structure, academics, library computers etc. Then on second day of Induction we got a brief detail on our grooming.

But on third and forth day I was not in the institute when students were taken for hotel familiarization trip to Asoka and Ambika Pillai’s Salon for Makeover session .I wish that I could be there with the other students. Now I am enjoying myself a lot and I hope that I will do best in my academics

When I joined Aura I got to know of the orientation program to be held on the first day. I assumed that it would be boring and monotonous but it turned out to be the other way round. It was an interesting session and a wonderful experience. We were introduced to the faculty, management, other members and the students, which I think was of utmost importance before the commencement of the classes. The whole experience at AURA was beyond my expectation.

On the second day i.e. 12th Aug we had a grooming session where we understood why and how to stay well groomed and presentable always. We learnt about the various aspects contributing towards self grooming. The next day we were taken to AMBICA PILLAI’s saloon, this was quite a pleasant surprise for all of us. We had a makeover session and it was a great experience. On the last day, we were taken to Hotel Ashok where we learnt about the various departments, ranks in 5 star hotels. This really inspired us and helped us in setting our goals.

I am thankful to the management for giving such a great welcome and also making our induction fun filled, exciting and informative.

On the first day of college, one’s mind is totally occupied with innumerable questions. How would my class mates be? Would my faculty be strict or friendly?

The same was with me. But the best part was that I got all the answers in fun filled day of induction. The faculty introduced themselves, which relieved all my fears as they were very co-operative and friendly. My classmates too were very friendly.

On the second day we had a detailed grooming session, wherein we learned how to take care of our skin and also to stay well groomed at all times as this is of utmost importance in the Hotel Industry. This was followed by a familiarization trip to Hotel Ashok , the next day, wherein we learnt about different types of rooms available, equipments used, services rendered in different departments  in hotels. On the last day we had a grooming session at AMBICA PILLAI which was really exciting.

Overall, it was a great experience; we enjoyed a lot and learnt many new things, which would help us in our future. I really feel privileged to be a part of this institution.
